Apex Mt. Ride, Penticton

I am heading up to Penticton this weekend to ride the IMC course on Saturday, (hoping for good weather).   On Sunday I would like to do about 3 hours more on the bike.  Would Apex be a good choice for a safe, challenging route.  Any suggestions or thoughts appreciated.  I have only ridden the  IMC and Peach classic bike courses and would like to  branch out a little more this trip.
