Garmin 310 Multisport, can not display custom data field screens

Hello,

I can not figure out why my 310XT does not show my custom data field screen when in multisport mode.  Can this be done?

Also, I downloaded the newest firmware with the "swim" patch and have enabled swim.  However, "other" still shows up on the watch and training center as a snow skier.
