Elevation profile feature request

Saw in 2 other threads this is being re-written. I am hoping that along with "follow roads" as a feature there is an automatic and dense placing of elevation measurements. I may be doing something wrong with MapMyRun, but I feel like in order to get a good elevation profile you still have to plop down a ton of waypoints in order to force the software to measure elevation. I usually just end up coming back to BT and manually plotting so I don't miss hills.

As an example, if I leave from my home and the first turn is 2 miles down the road I feel like mapMyRun uses some small number of intermediate measurement points and the elevation profile completely misses hills. I am guessing this is partly a problem of my geography in new england where I have a lot of quick up and down rollers that really add up but if you were to measure in 1/2 mile increments the road would look flat.

Hopes this makes sense. If not I can probably explain a little more clearly. Brain is a bit cooked from a 24 mile run today
