Comments: I can make up a lot of time. I need to start working on changing rehearsals. Bike
Comments: I need to fit my bike better. It seems to get uncomfortable after about 60 miles. I also need to work on better nutrition and diluting my race bottles more. What would you do differently?: 1. Ride greater than 6 hours at least 3-4 times 2. Ride in the aero position most of the rides 3. Dilute drink Transition 2
Comments: I took my time because I was exhausted from the bike. When one dominoe falls, they all fall... Run
Comments: I fell apart mentally after around mile 8. I was exhausted from the bike and only really pulled my self together around mile 18. What would you do differently?: 1. Train long bike rides with at least a 45 minute run afterwards 2. Run LD every week at least 2 hours Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: The bike Event comments: It's obvious my endurance on the bike is lacking. I need to solve the nutrition plan. The endurolyte tabs worked great. At least 400 calories per hour mostly from liquids and gels. However, I should eat some solid food at the midway point like a bagel sandwich. Last updated: 2003-12-24 12:00 AM

Arrived at the race site by 0545 in order to loosen up. Stretched out, ate a banana and drank some gatorade.
No warmup, went in cold because I didn't have any running shoes. Remember to bring two sets of shoes because one will be in the run bag.
