Pool swim - huge congestion hence slow swim time. Ended up swimming under a couple of contestants that insisted on taking up the whole lane and swimming very slowly... haha. Was never passed by anyone.
What would you do differently?:

there wasn't much I could have done in those circumstances - pretty happy with my pace when I had clear water.

Not sure on time - it was included in the cycle leg. Just removal of cap/googles (no wetsuit)

Drank to much which came into play in the first lap of my run. Felt like I gave the bike a good go. Was never passed by anyone. 29km/hr avg speed which I felt was a little slow (would normally do 31ish), but I think the wind really affected this.

I could have taken the transition a lot faster - was enjoying a little breather as I racked my bike and took off my helmet...

Felt like death the 1st lap, got 'second wind' though and pulled out a pretty good second lap. Final 1km was at a very good pace. Good home run.

What would you do differently?:

Push myself through the first lap faster.

Not many spot prizes!! haha. Swim leg was a nightmare - 500 people swum in 50 waves 1 minute apart. Was very messy and frustrating for those of us that were in it competitively.
