Swim
Comments: I'm slow.... What would you do differently?: Will swim 500 yards next time -- as closer to the 1/2 mile Sprint distance. Work more on bilateral breathing. Transition 1
Comments: Changed out of swim suit to cylcing/running clothes & cap, and walked fast down the hall to the bikes. What would you do differently?: Have the bike seat at the correct height, and remember what that is in case someone else moves it in the mean time Bike
Comments: Indoor riding is so boring to me, but I stuck it out! What would you do differently?: Be more consistant with effort -- not up and down as much. Transition 2
Comments: So easy to hop over to treadmill! What would you do differently?: Get to the treadmill quicker! Run
Comments: Did a one minute walk every few minutes -- shin splint therapy! What would you do differently?: No walk -- run the whole thing. Post race
Warm down: Walk 5 minutes on treadmill and slow walk to locker room. Next time, add stretching for 2 or 3 minutes. What limited your ability to perform faster: My first try at this, so need a baseline to compare future attempts. I don't know if I can go faster or not. We will see. Event comments: I like the idea of doing this mock tri periodically just to see how I will be able to perform in the real thing!! The brick needs work, and so does the running -- myy weakest link.
