Vancouver Open Water Swim - Kits Beach

Tonight is the first night to brave the cold water for an open water swim down at Kits Beach.

Does anyone know if there is a way to find out the temperature of the water down at Kits ?  That is short of me running down there with a thermometer ;-) ?
