Woke up and had some coffee... The race was in town and not until 9 so I didn't feel rushed.

Comments:

Nice run... kind of a speedwork day... Started out a little too fast. First mile was 5:41, second 5:45, third 6:15... obviously, I faded too much on the third mile... However, I got it together for the last third of a mile with a strong kick.

Going out too fast... I think.

Very good race. Great post event for such a small race. Great food and unlimited free beer!
