Comments: Slightly slow start due to the number of swimmers ahead of me. Did not push at all for the swim, just nice easy pace. Very happy. What would you do differently?: Jump off the boat earlier. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: very good transition for me. need to use a zip up shirt or swim with it, as it is tough to put on while wet. ![]() Bike
Comments: Need my strength on hills. ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Good Transition What would you do differently?: Nothing. ![]() Run

Event comments: Really a must-do event. Unique start with the boat jump-off. beautiful ride. run course is bad though, hilly, not scenic, al most no shade and no breeze. Last updated: 2011-07-15 12:00 AM

None. Had been registered for the DU until about 5 mins before we had to leave for the boat. Helped my daughter into her wetsuit and tried to calm my wife before the swim. I was one of the last ones in the water, and the horm went just before we got to the line!
