Swim
Comments: What the heck was I doing out there today? The swim felt good and I thought that I was in a decent rhythm for most of it, but my time was almost 2 min. slower than the past two sprints. I did not have any indication during the swim that I would be slower - I didn't go off course or feel tired or anything. One difference in today's race was that I felt zero adrenaline in the morning and had not felt great the day before. What would you do differently?: Get psyched up for the event! Transition 1
Bike
Comments: The bike section was good today. I stayed focused and worked harder than in the past two sprints. Still, people passed me, but I also passed quite a few people. What would you do differently?: Just keep working on drinking on the bike, staying focused, improve my overall condition. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Since I had been having knee pain, I wasn't sure whether I would be running or walking the run today. My knee felt great, though, and I ran the entire thing (slowly). I felt really happy for the whole run because of that! Post race

Got up at 4:30, showered and ate breakfast. We left the house at about 5:15. I had my usual peanut butter sandwich and coffee for breakfast.
Swam 100 yards or so.
