New Orleans Northshore - Where do I swim???

Any BT'ers on the Northshore (Covington Mandeville area) - where do you guys and gals swim?  I am a displaced Hurricane Katrina refugee and used to live on the Southshore in Lakeview.  We would swim either in the Lake or at UNO's pool.   We were lucky enough to find a house on the Northshore and will be moving in a few weeks, but we have no idea where we can get our swim workouts in.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks much!
