Swim
Comments: Felt good in pool. Could have gone faster, but not able to pass - too many people stacked up to negotiate a pass in a 25-yd length. What would you do differently?: Turn in a lower time - was swimming in 8:45, turned in 9:30. Should have turned in 8 min Transition 1
Comments: No bike shoes. Forgot towel, so had to clean feet. Pulled cycling shorts on over swim trunks. What would you do differently?: Have a towel. Bike
Comments: Tried to eat a bagel on the ride, but just couldn't do it. Mouth was too dry and the bagel just made me seem 'yeasty'. Needed to drink more. Felt really strong on hills and going into the wind. What would you do differently?: Drink more. Spend more time in big ring. Transition 2
Comments: spent too much time organizing the transition area. changed shirts and shouldn't have. forgot to take off bike shorts. What would you do differently?: don't change shirts - get a race belt. Run
Comments: was spent when I came in off the bike. What would you do differently?: do more bricks to prep. Post race

Got up at 5. Checked air in bike tires, loaded bikes, bags, etc. Went to race and set up transition area. Ate banana, bagel and OJ. Drank about a pint of water on the way.
Swam about 8 laps in the diving well at the natatorium. Stretched just a little bit.
