Subject: Speaking of scalesAfter reading his post http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=32199&posts=5 it reminded me I think I need a scale. When my now husband (then boyfriend) and I moved to Texas his only request was that I don't bring a scale with (he must have had previous girlfriends obsesed with weight!). Fine with me. I've pretty much have weighed in the same 5 - 7 lb. range for the last 15 years so I was okay with his request. Well since I've been working out a lot more I think I need a scale. I've read that you should weigh yourself before and after hard workouts and races to see how much water weight to replace (not sure it that is accurate or not). So I'm looking at getting a new scale. Probably one with body fat measurement (cause that's what I need to work on now). Do you have a recomendation for a scale? |
