Comments:

Started off easy and was still on pace at the 3 mile mark. I had hopes for a 9:00 pace. It was 44 degrees with gust winds. Great excuses but this was only my second time to run that distance and shold have kept the pace up.
What would you do differently?:

With that cold a run I should have planned on shedding clothes.

Walked around and had a good cup of warm coffee.

This is a good race and the course is good and flat. It would have been even better if it was 15 degrees warmer.
