Comments: Slightly difficult to get into pace at first, but settled down after about 1km. Worked inclines and enjoyed descents but overall maintained pretty consistent pace throughout (achieved very slight negative split). What would you do differently?: Nothing - perfect execution. Post race
Warm down: Stretched, got changed and had something to eat. Baclava and bacon sandwich not ideal recovery foods, should have thought to take recovery drink with me. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not having run for 6 years through injury. Did as well as could be expected given recent return. Last updated: 2011-11-06 12:00 AM
