Swim
Comments: Swam 50 free and the rest a mix What would you do differently?: Slow down, out of breath by the end of the second 25. Still working on the swim part Transition 1
Comments: Since this was an indoor tri we had to run through the locker room, put a shirt on and then find the cycling room. What would you do differently?: none really Bike
Comments: Jumped on the stationary bike but it was too low so readjusted after a couple minutes riding. Not really comparable to a normal bike ride because it was a stationary bike and I can't average over 20 on a regular bike What would you do differently?: Adjust seat first Transition 2
Comments: Took off after the bike and ran up the stairs. Only problem was wrong set of stairs so went back downstairs and through the hall and up to the running track What would you do differently?: Learn where the run is before the race Run
Comments: Pretty good run for me except for cramping on lap 2 What would you do differently?: hydrate on the bike Post race
Warm down: walked around the loop What limited your ability to perform faster: hydration, stress from the kids, cramps on the run Event comments: For a good workout this was a good race and we will do it again in April, without kids Last updated: 2006-03-28 12:00 AM

Got home from work, ate a sandwhich and then went with the wife and kids to the Y. Found out that when we got there the 6pm time actually meant registration and it would start at 6:30 instead. Checked the kids and about ready to dress when the daycare comes out and says the younger one got scratched. So we spent the next 30 minutes and talking with the coordinator (who was great about it) to figure out what to do with the younger one.
Besides warming up with the stress of the kids the second wave I was started and then they stopped us and made us start over because they didn't have enough bikes so an extra 100 yds for me swimming
