Comments:

It was warmer & more humid than predicted. People were dropping left & right - ambulances were everywhere. I was able to keep an average pace of 10 min/mile for the first 6 miles or so, then the hills really started. It seems like I went uphill for about 2 miles! But I finished strong, even though the hills slowed me down. I finished in 1:44:09, which is over 5 minutes faster than my previous best time (1:49:31 back in 2001) for this race. I was really hoping for 1:40:00, but I knew that the hills would slow me down some, so I am really pleased with my time.
