Comments: Swimming is my weakness, I had one lesson about a week before Sunday and have noticed an improvement. Going to get another before my next event. So after a year or so I am rebuildign my swim stroke (if you can call it that?) I need to sort my swim out!! Still pleased with my time though, has to be my best 500m time to date. What would you do differently?: Hope that the lessons I'm paying for are worth the cash ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Transitions weren't timed. Had shoes in bike when I left T1. Got my first foot in OK but struggled a little with the second. Still saved loads of time compared to putting shoes on before mounting bike though. What would you do differently?: Practice the whole foot in shoe thing and use sturdier rubber bands ![]() Bike
Comments: Enjoyed the bike, got my new bike and I'm going to use it. What would you do differently?: Go faster! ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Took feet out of shoes a little early. cycled about half a mile with my feet on top of my shoes What would you do differently?: Try and recce course ![]() Run
Comments: Felt ok on run but wish I'd gone a harder. Course was short and should have just gone for it. What would you do differently?: Go harder ![]() Post race
Warm down: Stretched, ate and drank. What limited your ability to perform faster: First race of season, lack guts on run. Event comments: Good race, would do it again if around.
