Subject: Bike Maintenance Clinic TONIGHT! Feel like all thumbs when it comes to basic things on your bike? Not sure when to change a chain (or lube it), chain rings, cassette, tires & etc.?   Orland Park Cyclerywill be putting on a clinic on the ins & outs of basic bike maintenance.   DATE:  Monday, December 10, 2012 TIME:  6:30pm LOCATION:  Orland Park Cyclery, 14445 John Humphrey Drive, Orland Park, IL  60462 COST:  $10.00   The following topics will be covered:   ·         How to remove your rear wheel easily. ·         What to look for in your tire & tube so you don’t get another flat a few miles down the road. ·         How to successfully & easily take off a tire. ·         How to put the tire back on w/ out using tire levers. ·         Where, what & how often to look for & inspect your bike. ·         How to lube your chain & more importantly when. ·         How to clean a chain quickly. ·         What to do when you encounter emergency issues on the road & how to prevent them in the future. ·         Essentials to carry w/ you on rides.     Bring any questions you might have, as there will be a Q & A following.
