I pushed pretty hard but faded for the last 3/4 mile or so. Still a decent time for being pretty out of shape.

Well organized and timed. Lots of beginners out there. And both mother and son who started the race series appeared and did some announcing before and after. I was surprised how competitive it was compared to the same race in other cities. I guess Sacramento just has a lot of fit people.
