Subject: FS: Zipp 808 wheelset $1000
Looking to sell my set of Zipp 808 tubulars. Making the jump to the ironman distance next year and really feel more comfortable on clinchers. These are the pre firecrest version from 2010. Have the same great hub as the newer version. I bought these via slowtwitch and I've only put about 200 miles on them. I would estimate total mileage at no more than 1000, brake track is in great shape and they're the best braking carbon wheels I've owned. There is a small scratch in one of the decals, they came to me this way and is purely superficial to the sticker. Wheels spin true and roll fast. Included in the sale are the original zipp skewers, 2 cans of vittoria pit stop, and a spare conti gatorskin tubular. The wheels currently have front and rear Vittoria Corsa Evo CX tubulars which will also come with the wheels. The rear I put on when I bought them so it has about 200 miles on it. $1000 shipped to CONUS. Would also be interested in a trade for 2010/2011 Zipp 404 clinchers with the aluminium brake track.
