New National Triathlon Series in New Zealand

I came across this the other day, Triathlon NZ is launching a 9 race NZ wide Triathlon series starting later this year in New Plymouth.

There appears to be two formats - "Tri My Sport Race" which is around a sprint/super-sprint format and the "Contact Energy NZ Cup Race" which is sprint/Olympic distances.

Distances appear to change by date and venue and there is a points/prize structure for the whole series.

For those in Auckland the race is based at Devonport, so will make a nice change from Mission Bay, Maraetai etc
