Comments: Lost bearings of buoys which added on time What would you do differently?: Ensure sighting better although misty goggles did not help. Transition 1
Comments: Long c.400m run to bike and same to bike mount. Had to carry bag to drop off as well. Cramp in calf as exiting water. What would you do differently?: get better speed up to bike Bike
Comments: Good course, felt Ok although slight pains in calf What would you do differently?: Ride harder. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Ensure I know where the running exit is. Run
Comments: Good run on route layered by crowds. What would you do differently?: Trust in yourself to do it. Post race
Warm down: None What limited your ability to perform faster: Cramp in calf Event comments: The race itself was great and enjoyable. It was a little bit chaotically organised. The athletes guide was very late to come out which adds to the nerves for novices like me There were two separate transition areas and kit was supposed to be transported from TA1 to the race finish. waited 2 hours whilst they sorted many bags before telling us that numbers over xxx would not be transported and athletes had to go back to the beginning to collect. This was a huge disappointment following an enjoyable race, Must be sorted for next year. This was one of the most expensive races I have entered and for a heavily sponsored race post-race activities.goodies was disappointing. Last updated: 2016-06-01 12:00 AM
