Swim
Comments: My wet suit felt as if it were trying to kill me. I honestly panicked for the first half of the swim because I couldn't fill my lungs with all the squeezing going on. I figured it out then to exhale violently and this would help me breath better. What would you do differently?: Perhaps not wear a wet suit at all. Transition 1
Comments: I always put my shoes on before getting on the bike. I'm a princess like that. What would you do differently?: Nothing. REALLY long trek from water to transition but I am ok with it now that it's over ...maybe .5 miles or so! Bike
Comments: Hills were tougher than I thought they'd be. Lots of wind. Two near accidents. Boston drivers ;/ What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 2
Comments: I oddly hesitated at transition time. I think I missed Sara <3 What would you do differently?: HTFU Run
Comments: Sara yelled to me to keep going on the final hill! I came in just seconds before her. Thanks Sara! What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Drank some yummy drinks, stretched a bit ate some watermelon What limited your ability to perform faster: trial and error - Sara and I have been training hard and it shows <3 Event comments: This race was run very, very well. Wendy F in particular made sure my day was wonderful despite the fact that my race packet and swag bag went missing. I didn't miss a beat and was able to start on time. Highest reviews for such a professional handling of a tough situation. Last updated: 2016-06-12 12:00 AM

Oatmeal eaten after Sara Simmons BROUGHT ME COFFEE IN BED! We arrived slightly later than I thought we would but it all worked because the Sprint began at 8:20 rather than 8:00. Perfect. Well, not really. Someone took my swag bag! Unfortunately it had everything I needed to begin the race in it - timing chip, swim cap, etc...plus MY SWAG! Anyway, HUGE shout out to WENDY FISKE who made it ALL BETTER! It was like nothing happened at all - she's still working on fixing some timing bugs because of this but she's been incredibly quick, polite and efficient throughout.
Lots of running around to find my swag bag, I ran in and out of the exits/entrances as per usual, powdered my socks, rolled 'em up...yeah.
