Comments: Really hammered this. Opened up with a 5:44 and just tried to hold on as best I could. The trail wind on the long straight away back was nice. Didn't have a ton left for a kick at the end but really happy I squeezed in under 18 minutes. Not expecting to be able to pull that off! What would you do differently?: Nothing  Post race
Warm down: After waiting around for awards (heck yeah 3rd place male team, AMC running club!), I ran the 2 miles back to my place. Event comments: Really fun race, so glad they added this to Oktoberfest a few years ago. Would've hung out afterwards with classmates if the weather were better. Last updated: 2017-09-30 12:00 AM

Had breakfast a little later than normal due to the start time of 10:20.
Rode a CDPHP bike from the park to Biergarten, then did a 1.25 mile run warm up.
