Swim
Comments: Pretty solid swim. Once again Liam was shot out of a cannon so no chance to hang on his feet. Was able to find a good set early on though. What would you do differently?: Not much Transition 1
Comments: Sold, no issues What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Couldn't quite hit the power number I wanted, but that's been typical this season. Overall a solid bike on a course that I'm sure can cause people to go too hard from the hills. What would you do differently?: Nothing really Transition 2
Comments: Smooth What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Not my best run, just never really felt all that great. It's not an easy course I know, but still. Felt a bit gassy perhaps. Not my normal breakfast, so maybe that played a role. I also went off course at a poorly marked turn off the bike path into what appeared to be just woods. They really should've had a volunteer there (or a better sign), cost me about 30 seconds I'd say. Toughed it out despite not having it today though. What would you do differently?: Not sticking to the usual breakfast may have been a mistake. Going off course didn't help either. Post race
Warm down: Just walked around, didn't feel too beat up. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not my best run, but overall a good race for me at a distance I've struggled with more times than not in the past. Event comments: Really like this venue, and this was the first time doing the Olympic since 2008, when the course was different (even the swim!). Last updated: 2018-09-15 12:00 AM

Decided to drive up the morning of the race, which wasn't too bad. Ate a bagel with PB and milk in the car on the way. Had plenty of time to check in and set up.
1 mile run with a few pick ups.
