Subject: Return to normal I hear a lot of people say we will never return to normal. I disagree. People have short memories. As time goes by and treatments and vaccines are developed and as the infection rates decline and deaths decline and people go back to work people will forget about coronavirus and go back to life as usual. I’m seeing more and more signs that people are ignoring “stay at home”.
Once the 24/7 news reporting on coronavirus begins to slow and summer approaches beaches will open and people get on with life.
BTW - “flattening the curve” was never about stopping coronavirus. In fact, it prolongs it. Flattening the curve was about dealing with a surge in hospital beds and overwhelming the system. Turns out that is not happening and there are plenty of hospital beds and ventilators available. The models were simply wrong. |
