Choked after 50 meters. Never found groove afterward.
What would you do differently?:

Don't try to swim in pack. Go 10 meters outside and swim to outside of buoy. Would be worth it in the long run. Need to roll better during stroke. If I can get on my side, I think I'll breath easier. Also, using a waterskiing wetsuit may not be ideal. Will invest in better suit for Encinitas ocean swim.

Very nice. Bummer that I lost my computer.
What would you do differently?:

Strap down water bottle better. Lost the puff thinger on a bump. That caused water to splash all over me, the bike, and my computer throughout the race. After wiping the computer for the 10th time, I accidentally pushed it off of the clip and it bounced on down the road past me...
