Comments: Felt really good on the swim. I passed two people on the 2nd lap. The first refused to get out of they way. What would you do differently?: I can't think of anything I would do differently. but hopefully go faster. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: T1 is getting faster this year. I am pleased with the time. Everything was soaking wet. ![]() Bike
Comments: I kept changing gears hard to easy and never got my speed up really fast. I kept the cadence up around 80 and for a period mid 80's. Front break was loose and kept rubbing on the right side. As I got into the higher gears the chain would slip. I need a really good off-season tune up. What would you do differently?: Go Faster ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Passed up my rack space. I counted the racks before hand but could not find my spot. I need to mark my spot somehow to find it more easily. ![]() Run
Comments: Arghhh. I have not been doing any speed work and it shows. My run times are slowly slipping. I would say the hard rain and the mud on the trail were bad but that is only an excuse. I worked on longer runs this year but need to get back to speed. ![]() Post race
Warm down: The usual, walked around got fluids and ate a burito What limited your ability to perform faster: Speed work. Event comments: This was well organized for a first time race. I liked the 50m pookl swim as it was different from most races. It is a good course and I would do it again. Last updated: 2007-07-02 12:00 AM
