Subject: foot pain - middle-outside of footI'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for in posting this - a miracle cure maybe? - but maybe someone will have something helpful to say.
This happened this fall as well, but I've been fine since then. Yesterday I went for a long run, for me, of almost 8 miles. I felt good aside from a bit of soreness in my legs today and achiness in my hips and knee. This was nothing that I really even thought about by this afternoon when I started today's run.
My plan was to do an easy 5 miles. About a mile into the run, I started feeling the pain in my foot and it slowly intensified until I had to stop running when I hobbled my way back home. It is kind of a dull pain in the middle of my right foot that feels like it spreads outward to the first boney no on the outside of my foot from the heel.
So, any thoughts? I'm really hoping this isn't something that will keep me from running or necessitate a trip to a doctor. |
