So some guy is suing NBC/Fear Factor because he saw the rat eating thing and got sick and light-headed and stumbled through his apartment and hit his head?!?!?!!??!?!?!?! Did you not see the trailers? Did you not, while watching the show, see the previews for upcoming segments? TURN THE DAMN TV OFF OR CHANGE THE DAMN CHANNEL!!!!!!!!!!!! Sad thing is that NBC will probably settle with him. Stuff like this (frivilous law suits) just makes my blood boil. Sorry. Had to vent.

Yeah, I think he might be able to afford a few with the $2.5 million he wants.

In college my fraternity was investigated for animal abuse because we had "rat races" during rush week. Why? Because it seemed like a good reason to drink beer. And none of them were injured or treated inhumanely- we just set up a little course and let them run it.

Of course they were later fed to some guys python and no-one was upset about that???

This really has nothing to do with your post, other than it involves rats as well...

From the article...   In a handwritten four-page lawsuit filed in federal court in Cleveland on Tuesday, paralegal Austin Aitken said, "To have the individuals on the show eat (yes) and drink dead rats was crazy and from a viewer's point of view made me throw-up as well an another in the house at the same time."

I think the guy should stop handwriting things, and start using a computer so he can use the grammar check tool.

Did the contestants improve their race results with the new and improved Rat Smoothie? I'm guessing it didn't meet the 4:1 carb/protein ratio.

Reminds me of a great Bobcat Goldthwait line -

Know what the difference is between a gerbil and a hamster?

A hamster has more white meat.
