Subject: Good LBS west of Atlanta?

Hey ppl,

Would appreciate any input as to a good LBS in the Dallas/Paulding/Douglasville area. I want a place that's reputable, good with customers, and has good prices. I'm looking for a bike fit and the purchase of an entry level road/tri bike. 

A place where everybody knows your name...cheers.

Hey tridood I live in Dallas also do you know of the group ride out of starbucks in hiram on sat at 9? Check out atlbike.org for more info and rides in the area.

Thanks for that site!

I will hold off on group rides until I upgrade from my MTB. I would hate to be "that guy", showing up on a MTB, slowing the group down...

Sounds like fun, though.

Sounds good. There is also a mountain bike ride that goes out of the Hiram trailhead off the comet at 6 p.m. on wed that is fairly regular. Watch the post. The ride is on the mtb trails that parallel the comet normally goes to the paulding chamber and back.
Good ride I am on a red specialized fsr when I do it.

Although Bicycle Outfitters staff is very reputable, they dont know too much about tri bikes with internally routed cables SOOO, if your rig has these, may be a good bet to hit AVX off of Moore's Mill. Otherwise, BO is a good shop.

I stopped by BO and had a nice talk with Glen. Once I get back from military training (in arizona) I'm probably going to buy an entry level bike road bike (with accessories) from them.

Glen was really cool, took the time to answer all of my questions, and seemed like an all around genuine guy. At least, that's the impression I got.

I know I can probably get a bike cheaper online, but I'm going to go with the "support LBS" philosophy...well, free adjustments for the life of the bike don't sound too bad either.
