Wondering if any of you are in/near Tempe. And, if so, can tell me what the avg temp is for mid-late Nov, say around the 23rd?

Thanks!

I agree with OX.

I just found a site (some tourist site) that said the average high temp in November was 75. Not only does that seem a bit low, but they also listed the average high temp in Oct. as 88 and we all know THAT is too low.

As Ox said, it will be a tad more humid around Tempe Town Lake than the rest of the area as well.

Keep in mind, according to the National Weather Service' site;  last year saw 6 days which were above 90 degrees in November, with quite a few days above 81 degrees.  The 75 degree overall "average" was a 6.8 degree depart from the normal average.

Needless to say; temperature swings in November can go from the high 50's to the low 90's.  I'd prepare for both.

Cold in the morning. Wetsuit legal is not in question.
Cool on the bike at the beginning, beautiful after 1000.
Once the sun goes down, immediate drop in temperature and
cool again through the night.

That is sort of the standard around here for that time.

Unless it rains or something unusual happens. Which means
it will rain and something unusual will happen.

Better I guess. It's turned into a one tragedy after another.

I got on an elliptical for 30 minutes on Thursday. Less than
6 hours later I had gotten hives so badly that I had a hard time
walking. My feet had swelled so much they wouldn't fit in
any of my shoes and it felt like I was walking on golf balls.
(This has never happened before. I have no allergies to
food, medication or animals). The rest of me was like a
Jackson Pollack painting of hives.

Saw the Dr. on Friday. Got a steroid shot, started taking anti-histamines
like tic-tacs. Finally, by late Sunday I felt like I was back to just
a broken collarbone.

I have my trainer now, and my hives seem to be under control,
so I'm going to try to spin tonight at home. Wish me luck.

As I've told people....I can't lose for losing.

I hope so too. If I can get my biking back up on the trainer and use the elliptical until my collarbone heals enough to let me run that will keep me good for 2 of the 3.

Swimming is going to suffer, but let's be honest, as long as I don't drown I've succeeded.
