Big Kahuna Triathlon : Official Thread

Hey Fojeda, I'm in.  Just finished IMCDA last Sunday and think it's too early to close my 2011 season now.  Bring it on

I'm down! This will be my third tri ever. Did a sprint in May (EASY) and have been busting my to prep for an oly at the end of july. The Big Kahuna will be fun...and punishing...and probably cold...and fun

Two weeks! Looking forward to it! Had a blast last year, looking forward to not falling apart on the run this year! Go fast! Be safe!

I'll be there doing the relay with two of my friends! Was supposed to be the swimmer but now it looks like I'll be doing the run, plan calls for 17 miles that day (I'm training for IMAZ) so planning to run 4 miles while our cyclist is out on the course then finish off the 13.1!

I will be there too (and am also doing AZ)!

Well, I guess that answers one of my questions. I'm planning on doing Arizona next year, and was thinking about the race schedule for next year. I was thinking that I'd just add Arizona to the end of my calendar, which this year ends with Big Kahuna. Looks like several are using this as prep for Az.

Good luck everyone!  Looking forward to the race.  Feeling a bit unprepared, but I am sure it will be fine.  If you want to say hi, my bib number is 451 and I ride a Cervelo P2.  I will hopefully be at the race site by 5am, but might be closer to 530am.
