It is time to turn in your man-card and start acting like a woman!

https://www.wsj.com/articles/p-g-challenges-men-to-shave-their-toxic...

If anyone thinks the campaign against 'toxic masculinity' is going to change men's behavior I submit they do not understand men at all.

Is Gillette suggesting that grilling is toxic masculinity? LOL Ok, I have to admit, in 31 years of marriage we have always had a grill in the back yard and not once in 31 years has my wife ever grilled anything! Why not? Because I like to grill out and she does not.

The idea that we can 'change' the way we were pre-wired is ridiculous. As far as rearing (as opposed to genetics), we are a product of our environment with our parents having the biggest and most lasting impact.

I think once again, a company decided it needed to make a 'statement' and shot themselves in the foot. I hope the shareholders vote out the idiots at the P&G board for allowing this. How about this, make and sell good razors and leave social issues alone.

Ever see a Gillette women's razor? They are pink! Maybe they should clean up their own stereotypes before trying to fix the rest of the country.

I submit a new slogan for them, "Gillette, where women are women....and so are the men!"

Good for them....but I'll tell you something else...a man doesn't need anyone to stick up for him.

I don't buy razors based on commercials. I tend to buy cheap disposable razors. I only shave once a week so by Friday I am looking pretty scraggly.....but I am beyond caring Only reason I shave on Sunday night is because my face starts itching.

Years ago everyone used a single bladed razor....then they came out with a twin-bladed razor and that became the standard....until someone came out with a triple bladed razor. It never took off but I actually saw a 5 bladed razor one time. This reminds me of this clip:

I can't view this at work so I hope I grabbed the right video.

Good read on TM and Covington boys.

Excerpt:

"The Blank Slate theory then leads to a second error. To explain why men are in fact more likely to, say, assault their landlord or, less dramatically, to stare at a woman’s breasts without allowing for innate tendencies, blank slatists have to paint a garishly degraded picture of American society and its supposedly pathological gender norms."

I'm pretty sure it no one 'taught' me to stare at women's breasts....it just came naturally!

Yeah.......I'm just not playing along with this stuff.

If this is the way we're headed then I'm going back to the last fork in the road, because we obviously went the wrong way and now we're lost. LOL
