I'm a big fan using my RSS reader so I can follow that happenings of BT & the logs of my fellow BT'ers..... with that being said I can't seem to get one of my friends on my RSS reader.... I get this error message (see below) when the RSS reader attempts to access her log...
Error parsing column data

And I've noticed the "Challenge Me" forum does not have an RSS link

Can you give me the users # or the feed number?

'Challenge me' should have RSS now, I just never configured it.

I got the "Challenge Me!" forum in my RSS reader by using this line http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/rss.asp?fid=27

When I select the RSS icon in the "Challenge Me!" forum I get this link http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/forum-view.asp?fid=27#s which doesn't work in my RSS reader

and I got my friend in my RSS reader also by using this line
http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/blog-rss.asp?mid=38124 when I click on her RSS icon I get this link http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/index-weekly.asp?memberid=38124 which doesn't work in my RSS reader? Does all of this sound right?

are the correct RSS URLS that you would include in your feed.  The other two URLS wouldn't work.

Are these two feeds updating in your reader?  What happens when you click on the current days thread or workout in your feeds?

I just added these feeds to my Google feed reader and they seem to work and update and allows me to click on the current title to go back to BT.

Can you use the URL listed above in your Goggle reader?

When you click on the RSS icons in the forums and logs respectively, you should get the following links to put in your feed reeder to get the info once it's updated.  The forum URL or training log URL that lacks the /rss.asp or /blog-rss.asp will not work as a feed.  I hope I have this correct, I don't use RSS myself for much...maybe others can lend some insight into what the problem is?

Anybody else following this thread?  Can you help us sort this out?

Ott, I have even gone in and hit those 'rss' buttons both as a guest and as your account and still get the rss.asp URL's - not the forum-view.asp or index-weekly.asp?

Let's see what other people get as a URL when hitting thos buttons before I send our programmer on this-or I'm missing something completely.

When I was a kid I would tell my father "pop's my car is doing this this & that!!!" then I would drag him out to the car and guess what.?.?.? The problem didn't exist.... I say that to say this...

This time I copied the URL from Windows Internet Explorer and all is fine.... aghhh

Thanks Ron for letting me waste your time
