Roll call for Rattlesnake. I'm in for the Sprint on Sunday. Who wants to meet after the race? How about to the south-east-ish of the food pavilion post race?

I am registered for both the Oly and Sprint.  I am going to need beer after (probably before, too!) the sprint on Sunday...maybe some percocet...as life has happened and my training has taken a back seat to it all!

I look forward to seeing you there!

I'm doing the Oly - my 1st as well.

Has everyone gotten the email about packet pickup and park pass?  I just got it tonight.

Wish I could be there Sunday to cheer for you Mel, but I need to hang out with my kids for a change.  Not sure I remember what they look like we've been so busy

Have a great race everyone!!

Soooo, this will be the first time I ever intentionally rode in the rain.  Can't wait.

I've always said that I love the rain.  And I love triathlons.

We'll see tomorrow if I love them together........

See you all tomorrow!

I'm a little grumpy after this morning's fun, because it actually was fun!

This was an A race for me, and after the training I was disappointed it got called midway through. I was cold and wet, but accepted that going in -- I actually like the rain. Unfortunately, I had my best OWS to date, and was feeling great on the bike, then......

I'm with you brother.  I knew it was going to be wet & I was bound & determined to endure it & still beat my time target.  I can't say that I found it fun, but I would have kept hammering until I finished it in (nearly) any condition.  I kept repeating to myself that endurance athletes have to endure tough conditions too.

So much for my A race of the season.........

But hats off to Jim & the team that worked so hard to put the event on.  It sucks for us all that it had to be cancelled, but he made the right decision.

Sorry to hear the race was canceled today guys, that really sucks. Let's just pray for the guys that are racing tomorrow (myself included) that the rain and thunderstorms stop long enough for the sprint. I will see all you tomorrow though! I will be in the black Rudy Project visor, black 2XU full tri-suit, and gray Cervelo P2SL bike with H3's.

See you all there!

so far I have a $123 swim cap for my first tri, the swim was kind of fun in a "I'll just pretend I'm swimming in San Francisco Bay sorta way" Trying not to be bitter about events completely out of the race directors control. So yeah Rattlesnake and I hope the sprint was a success.

The sprint was a success!  I really enjoyed it.

The Oly....well, I ended up riding >8 miles with a flat on the way back in a torrential downpour and my butt still hurts.  I figured I should stand up to keep as much weight off the back (the one that was flat) as possible?  My rim was fine, though.  (My only spare tube ruptured)  That just sucked.
