Yup that would prob help haha... Around Morristown, Basking Ridge, Watchung areas. I know of two in my area high gear and liberty cycle both with a very limited selection of tri bikes. Every time i go in they push me to ride a road bike, and i feel more and more its just to make a sale.

i live right by high gear but not much of a selection for tri bikes/apparel. Sports people in Far Hills have some stuff - cervelo dealer also. Brielle cyclery has a good selection of bikes and they're very nice to deal with. I just bought a cervelo soloist from them a month ago and had a great experience. Kinda far, but they were good.

My coach and her husband happen to be certified bike fitters (Serotta school) and distributors of Waterford (custom built) bikes. Depending on how much you want to spend and what you're looking for, there is no better way to go then a custom built bike. No picking off the shelf, it's just for you! If your interested in more information PM me and I can get you in contact with them (they are in Hillsborough)

I really like Knapps Cyclery. But they are a little bit of a distance for you (located in Lawrenceville,NJ). The owner and staff are great. Very big sellers of Specialized and its a great shop overall. They are also big sponsors of area events, including NJ State Triathlon.

x2 on Brielle Cycles, ask for Pat. Avoid Peddler in Long Branch, awful staff and push high end bikes to tourists.

X3 for Brielle I purchased my P2C from them- very knowledgeable and don't talk down to noobs. Also they have a large selection of tri bikes/gear. The Jersey Shore Tri Club also has a close relationship Briell Cyclery and many of the staff compete in Tris or other events so they are always around.

Yeah - forget about Liberty for tri-bikes - they're a road-racing shop.  And High Gear kinda backed off of the tri scene.

I would recommend:

SportsPeople in Far Hills - can get you a nice Cervelo.  I'm THIS close to getting one myself.

Marty's in Morristown.  Perhaps a custom Guru?

Go there and talk to them - don't just look around.  They may not have "your" bike in stock, but they're knowledgeable about what would be good.  And have a budget in mind
