Subject: RE: Trainers Vs Spikes - What is faster?Unless you are doing really long distances on the track (5k plus ), go with spikes. I wore them up to distances of 2 miles. As far as differences, well they are lighter and have better traction (helpful on turns and that last sprint ).
However, if you have biomechanical issues, you may want to stick with trainers, as spikes have absolutely no support, and very little cushion. There's a reason they call them flats! |
