I'm watching this show on TLC with the above name. Amazing story about a young man with a rare skin disorder where his skin is continuously falling off. It is inspiring and painful to watch his life and death.

Puts the pains and trials and tribulations of my life in perspective.

It is sad and painful to watch. But he tells an amazing story. What's a few tears among friends?

Ooh...Discovery Health. MY FAVORITE. I could watch that channel for hours, if they didn't continually show the same re-runs of "Babies Special Delivery."

it was over by the time I got there.  I love that channel, and I love that the room clears out whenever I put it on.

What's up with TLC showing all the Discovery Channel ads? I thought they were competitors. Wierd...
But I digress
I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who's stuck on the Discovery Health, Fit TV and TLC medical programming circuit. I did see this show, but have to admit I didn't watch the end. Did come back for the next 2 shows about the little Hercules kid and the Olympia bodybuilder woman...but that's a whole 'nother thread.

I think the most amazing thing about it was his attitude towards it all. He could have been bitter and resentful and miserable to be around, but he was realistic, up-beat, had a sense of humor, and was very honest with himself as well as his family and friends. Truly an inspiration!
