I herd on the news today they may have a revote. I guess winning one out of three isnt good enough.

Hi Lara, Welcome to Washington!  Gregoire had to pay for the last recount.  This is insane.  King County has to do better--ballots "found" during the recount that went uncounted in the first count, more votes counted there are names on the list of voters.   Without regard for the outcome, the whole thing is disgusting.

I hope we have a revote.  It is the only way any governor will be legit IMO.

ok... i'm new to the area...  i'm in southern washington in the Portland Metro area...  but... do we have a Govonor yet???????

i'm sooooooo confused... but it's not like that is anything new

You get a gov when san diego gets a confirmed non-law suit contested, non-subpeona'd, non-indicted, un-pension scandled mayor!! ;-)

I agree that a new election should be held.   What do you think the chances are?

If you are a WA state resident and registered to vote, you can sign the petition for a revote here.

Thanks for the link.  I signed it.  I was so mad (again) this morning when I saw one of the state representative's statement "You can't have a revote because you don't like the outcome".   ARRGGG, they don't get it....It's not the outcome that is troubling, it was the process---votes not counted, votes "found", ballots permanently altered during the hand recount, voter lists that do not reconcile with number of votes counted.  Anyway.....breathe deeply.....
