I do ... I'm fairly new to this triathlon thing and I was finding that I wasn't eating enough to sustain my training. I'm working with a sports nutritionist to make sure I eat the right combos of carb, protien and fat. So far it's going well, I have more energy and I'm eating what I'm supposed to .

I meticulously track every calorie that goes into my body, inasmuch as possible. I would imagine that most people on this site (and in the sport) do as well, to some degree or another.

i do.  but i'm a figure competitor myself so it's the same mindset.  but most triathletes i've met are equally neurotic about their nutrition, macros, timing.  we've totally got a headstart on this game!

I track it closely from the plate to my lips... wouldn't want to drop any!

That made LOL.

I have started to track my cals, but a little loosley, I am still trying to find a nice place to do so. One that will calc cals burned as well.

i track everything.  i'm trying to lose weight so it's important to me to understand what goes in vs. what goes out.

I track.  But I track on the front end, meaning it's all planned out and I stick to it.  I don't write down what I ate at the end of they day.  I know exactly what my nutrients/caloric intake is ahead of time.

I usually eat a fairly healthy diet, but one of the things I like best about training for triathlons is that I can pretty much eat anything I want. I look at calories/nutrition data for foods, but that doesn't stop me from eating the occasional Krispy Kreme glazed donut (like this morning).

I track occasionally. I've been counting calories lately because I had a freak injury and couldn't train as much, and wanted to make sure I'm not putting too much in. I'm also trying to lose a few pounds.

I don't track calories at all, but i do eat pretty healthy and I know If i'm way over or way under. For me calories are not a big deal becasue I'm not trying to lose weight and if anything I have to try and eat MORE calories.
