I've never done it, but it's on my list of things to do. Don't think I could make it up there this Saturday and then next Saturday my DH is racing in the CFTS #3, BUT I definitely plan on getting up there sometime again between next weekend and IM Augusta.

If you do the swim, let me know how it goes!

I did it this morning. It's fantastic! Absolutely beautiful and Lucky is an awesome guy.

Full disclosure: I'm just starting and can't make the entire swim without a floatation aid. . . My goal is to be able to make the entire swim within a month.

I am planning on doin git this Sat and then a bike ride.  I was swimming 1 mi everyday until the weather changed and decided to storm every afternoon during my swim time   I am a little rusty but feel I could still make it pretty easily without a swim device.

I have done this swim a couple times. It is really cool.   I have only gone on a Saturday morning and during the summer there has been a big turn out. I think each time I have gone more people have come.   It is definitely good open water practice. He has a wall that first timers sign, so don’t forget to sign it before you leave!

I have my patch and name on the wall   It's a great way to spend a saturday morning!!!  If I lived up there, I'd do it all the time for the sheer joy of it.  It's one of last good free things in life

Lucky's is awesome.  I've done it once.  If I lived closer I'd swim there rather than a pool.
