Subject: RE: Any October Events?I did Weare NH last year when I found out Hyannis was sold out. I really enjoyed it and I would do it again if it was on a different weekend than Hyannis. well run, good people. FYI, The rec area is closed, so all you have is portajohns. It's an open transition area, ie racking is not assigned. Get there early and hang at your spot so late comers dont squeeze into your area. You'll have a 300 yard run from swim to transition. Many ppl left sandals or flip flops near the beach. The bike is all up hill to start. The hill that you come down when you enter the park (not by the dam ), thats your first hill. Then about 1/2 way, It/s mostly downhill, then a climb near the end. The run is out and back on a dirt fire road. The aid station is at the 1 mile mark, so you also get it coming back at mile 2 as well. Good luck Edited by ratherbesnowboarding 2009-08-20 3:43 PM
