Subject: 2010 Jamis Comet Tri Bike - Size 56

Selling my 2010 Jamis Comet.  It has a grand total of 300 kms of use (186 miles).  I bought it January 2011.

I upgraded the crank from the stock Gossamer to a Shimano R700 compact which is essentially a Ultegra.

Also included:

  • white Cobb V-Flow Plus saddle or black/grey Adamo road...you pick one or the other
  • Profile Design aero bottle (missing clear tube)
  • Speedplay Zero pedals & clips (clips still work fine, but would need replacing soon)
  • 2x Hutchinson Atom race tires w/ latex tubes - Less than 60 miles on them

This will be boxed at the bike shop.

$1500 for everything + shipping.

 Pic shown below with Adamo saddle, Shimano crank, and Speedplay pedals...as you would get it.

Just an opinion but a brand new never ridden Jamis Comet is only $1725.  I know you say only 186 miles but it's two years old and I could probably talk the dealer down just a bit.  I'm not interested just saw that you were asking if it was too much.  If I were looking I would say yes.

You forgot to add the Cobb saddle ($100+), Speedplay pedals ($180+), and Atom Comp tires & latex tubes tires ($80+).  That bike is now over $2000.

Also wouldn't mind seeing where you saw that bike for that price.
