Subject: need help BTers

So, I'm signed up to do the Chicago tri this weekend and my bike was stolen out of my garage last night.  Is there anyone out there that has a bike they would be willing to lend a total stranger (me) cause i really don't want to do this race on a mountain bike.  Or, do you know a place where I can rent a bike for the weekend.

Any and all help and advice is greatly appreciated.

I know Village Cycle sports in elk grove will rent bikes.  Not sure if they have weekend rates or not.

My cervelo is a 51 ... my specialized is a small (I think... I know I was either a small made to be as big as it could or a medium made as small as it could).

You'll be all scrunched up, but you're more than welcome to either of them.  I'm out in Tinley - we'd have to work something out.  I won't need either of them from now through the weekend.

Thanks for the offers guys, but I think i'm gonna have to ride the good old Schwinn MTB.  I'm just about to leave for work now, and I've gotta do the expo tomorrow and work all day saturday.

I really do appreciate the offers though

Only on BT can you find such friendly triathletes.

I am downtown and have a Blue S-17 that is a 55

Needs some air and chain oil/greese but you are more than welcome to use it......it would be happy to see some miles.  I had back surgery in May :-(

I live in the fulton District.  Not too far from Union Station.  I work in the IL medical District by the United Center.
