Guys and pedicures....

Extreme Veteran  724   Delray Beach, FL |  Subject: Guys and pedicures....Ok, I've been going to the same nail salon for almost 3 years now. I love getting pedicures after my long runs (a little treat for a great effort), plus feet get very nasty with all the running. Nail salons are safe, you do not need to look glamorous, you are usually in a ponytail with no make up. (You girls know how it is). Big surprise today? 2 guys getting pedicures! I've never seen that before! I know the whole metrosexual trend is in but this time it is actually coming to the town near you! Forget NY and LA.... Don't get me wrong, I thougt it was sexy (well the guy sitting next to my chair was gorgeous, not gay, her girlfriend was getting a manicure). Of course he didnt want to get a manicure, I told the girlfriend not to push it  Good for you guys! I admire guys who would get a pedicure (believe me, it is addictive!) or go to yoga classes..... I think is plain sexy to see guys who are secure enough to dare... (same way guys are attracted to daring girls)... |

My feet are very sensitive on the bottom. I never went w/o socks or shoes as a kid. Even 3 years in the USMC and I never got on blister.. Knock on wood... Massages are the best.. Waxing - I would have not problems it.. |

The pedicure included painting each of my toenails a different color. Two days later we took a cruise and I went to the dry sauna shortly after sailing. The sauna attendant kept giving me these 'smirks' and smiles. Several other guys kind of looked at me funny and I didn't snap to it until I was done and putting on my shoes! I just had to laugh and decided to leave it on for the rest of the cruise. Each beach stop along the way was met with curious stares and giggles. But yeah, keep your toes trimmed and callous knocked down. |
