Subject: Nahant Beach OWS 8/7 or 8/8
A few of us did an OWS at Nahant Beach ($3 parking!!) this weekend, and it was great - especially for those of us doing an ocean tri. I will probably be going weekly until my race September 5. I will coordinate swims every weekend for anyone interested - I definitely appreciate the company! Let me know if you want to join me this week!

I have a sprint tri in Mt snow vermont(trek series) this weekend.  I will keep my eyes out for the weeks to come although my schedule between commitments and work is pretty busy.  Hopefully i will be able to meet up with some of you for at least 1 of these.

At this point I think we should plan a swim on Saturday morning, since only one person has a preference. How about 9am, Nahant Beach parking lot?

since i am training for my first tri in sept I was hoping to observe the goucester tri on sunday am.   But if sunday is better for everyone else i can catch up with you all next weekend.

I hope you all had a good swim this weekend.  I'm glad I was able to get out a couple weeks back.  I had my first ocean triathlon in Gloucester yesterday, and even just getting that one practice swim in at Nahant was a big help.  While my swim was still slow overall 35/48 in my AG; however there was no panic, I felt comfortable, and personally it was my best swim yet.  Front crawl the whole way, and I actually managed to swim straight.

Yay! Congrats Jammers! Hope the ocean swims will have the same effect for me in a few weeks. Glad you had a good race!
