I have Vasa Ergometer for sale, I just haven't had time to train for triathlons and its sitting collecting dust.  Its a great piece of equipment, my interests have just changed.

I just read your post and I am interested in the ergometer.  I have a friend that is in STL right now and may be able to look at it while she is there. I am getting ready to have hip surgery and will be confined to house for a month to erhab til I can get back in the pool again.  let me know if it is still available.  Thanks

Did it help?  I think so, I did an Ironman using it exclusively for swimming and only swam twice a week.  The only time I got in the water was to race.  I don't think it matters what level of swimmer you are, it will make you a stronger swimmer.  It really does have a water feel to it.  The cool thing is it can tell you if your stroke is inconsistent, so you can correct it.  I am not sure about the life time guarantee, I am sure if you contacted VASA they would be able to tell you.
