Ok, my friend Ron and I love to ride motorcycles.  A few years ago our other friend Chad wanted to learn how so we put him up on a Suzuki SV650 which we happened to have laying around and figured we'd teach him how to ride around the neighborhood.

Here's a link to the video of the following hilarity.  This video was put up on Chad's brother's webpage.  Chad got pissed so his brother took it down, but by then it was too late.  It had spread all over the internet and it still pops up from time to time.  It's been 3 or 4 years but it just won't go away!  lol

http://www.funny-games.biz/videos/62-brand-new-bike.html

BTW, he was ok.  I think he broke his finger or bruised his hand or something.  He hasn't tried riding since.  The bike was pretty banged up.  Chad would kill me if he knew I posted this here, lol!

*EDIT*  BTW, it was NOT a new bike, by any means.  Whoever titled the video was wrong about that.  It'd actually had 2 owners by this point.

LMAO! Oh, the poor SV... (seeing as how your friend was ok!)
Maybe it would've been better to have the poor guy take a riding class... hehe.

Sorry, but now I'll have to forward it to all my riding friends... hehe.

What kind of bike do you have?

I don't have one now.  That SV used to be my main bike, and I used to borrow my friend's Magna but he sold for a Ducatti which I've only driven once (it scares me, I can admit it).  Shortly after that video was shot I moved to San Diego from Chicago and the roads out there are just WAY too dangerous for bikes, IMO so I gave them up.  Now that I'm back in Chicago and gas prices are insane I really want one though, I'm thinking a Triumph Bonnie.  I love those brittish classics.

How about you?

I have a Yahmmie FZ6; it's a lot like the SV but it has an inline 4 instead of a V-twin. I just got it last year.. We ride for fun, mostly in the country and to the drag strip where these pics were taken. It can be a lot of fun!

I feel for the poor guy. But I'm still lmao. I've been in numerous motorpickle accidents - all because I rode beyond my limits

I've been a Kawisaki guy up to now. Two ZX6's and one ZX7. I love the new ZX10, but I think I'm getting older. I so badly want the Ducati Monster: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2004models/2004-DucatiMonster...

I tend to push my limits on motorcycles too...but that's ok because it's on a race track during races.    I currently  have an MZ Skorpion that dominates the Lightweight classes (loves to eat the SVs for breakfast ) and an R6 for the Middleweight classes.  This is how I got into tris.  I needed to start tri training to keep up the fitness for racing.  It has definitely made quite a difference!

What are friends for, if not to humiliate you with 1,000,000 of your closest internet friends?

I miss being at the races . I own a 1989 GSXR 750, with a 1340cc motor good for 185 rwhp with and additional 100bhp of Nitrous Oxide. I miss riding her. I had planned to detune her by going with an 1127cc motor with a turbo.
Wish I had time to do that, as for now we are just swimming biking and running which is healthier and cheaper.

That's great!! I plan on getting to a track day as soon as I get an opportunity. I really want to, but I need to accumulate more gear (and probably a track bike)!! So far, I have only made appearances on the drag track and I love that too!!
